So it's been a while crocodile. I have been busy teaching at South Essex college and of course the mighty village green is taking shape and starting to make its presence felt. Time feels like is been bending lately, between college, kids, cooking I face the dilemma of knowing my creative practice is on the back burner, my now sole ownership of the Brandyhole studio has been neglected somewhat over the cold winter and I know tomorrow when I go and do the spring clean it's going wrench at my heart when I have to come away and return the busyness of current times. So to update, jules and I parted company in the summer of last year. We just worked differently and it took some time to get used to that but now it means the studio is truly a sanctuary for my creativity, a hide out for the kids and I over the long summer months when we can explore and play swallows and amazons in the creeks. This year I am also privileged to be working on the river festival which finishes just up the road in the recreation ground so I am proud to represent the artist studios on the south bank. More tomorrow on that.. Pics to follow , writing From my phone which is novel if not a little Grammatically incorrect ....
