Nicola uses skills gained from 10 years in the Corporate Event sector and transfers them to her role as Education Director at naturespacecreative.  Nicola trained as a teacher in 2005 and has worked across ages and primary schools in Essex.

Prior to the birth of her second child, Nicola was PSHE Co-ordinator through which she was able to follow her passion for social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL).  Part of this role was to develop a diverse range of educational programmes designed to engage and encourage participation from the whole school the wider community.

Nicola’s role at naturespacecreative means that she is the  main brains behind education direction and works alongside Joanna to develop  the bespoke courses,  ensuring that creative and educational aspects are delivered in an innovative and inspiring manner in tune with current thinking around the curriculum across the relevant Key Stages.

Nicola’s greatest strengths are her perseverance, meticulous planning and gentle demeanour, together with a naturally creative brain that leads to an exciting and unique educational experience for all involved.
