Is it a cover up? A change , hiding the piece underneath, a protection??
Unbinding a exploration on biding with satin ribbon of a heart shaped flint, experiment in meditative practice.
Each binding was wound onto the rock so that it lay flat, held in place by a thumb. Several attempts were made to read how the ribbon wished to fall. De constructing it afterwards shows a sense of removing the manmade protective layer that was temporarily enfolding it. contained and made in a shoe box. Images show random unwrap were stone was lifted and allowed to drop back into the box and capture on iphone, no editing has been done to create sterile image.
