Spent the day sorting my professional projects, A show on Friday at Brixton Jamm with Symphonica - The History of Drum and Bass, final advancing and tech load in and guest lists, liaising with the Australian promoter, urging her to send new dates through so I can pencil in to work around or confirm if they are over my hand in periods for UNi. Then I moved onto a morning training on Quality Assurance and Standardisation, before EQA and verifying 3 colleges and their creative courses. The last an exemplary college for creative media and adult learners.
Throughout the day I took time to make sure my diary was straight, that the finances were straight and current. I downloaded Autodesk CAD, I started to think how I can present my ideas on Monday for the proposal fro the piece for this semester, drawing thoughts together and ideas for responses, I mooched about thinking about the student led creative, realised I had missed drawing session again, guilty and then carried on with the EQA so that the colleges would meet their ILR deadline for funding. I got into bed at 9pm having spent 11 hours in front of a screen, my dreams may be a little odd tonight. Tomorrow I am going to get up and write blogs, continue with the EQA ( critical times for FE this week!), lead a standardisation session on EPA Standards for PR and Junior Content Producer and then carry on with my thoughts for the presentation and writing the journalistic piece for WAA.
